This course is designed to provide teachers with some useful teaching ideas for their skills classes. There will be four sessions, one for each skill: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Teachers will discuss different attitudes towards the teaching of a particular skill
- Teachers will look at how the skill is used in the real world and the implications for the classroom
- Teachers will examine the sub-skills involved
- Teachers will participate in a variety of activities to practise the sub-skills
- The trainer will provide practical examples for each skill

A Certificate of Attendance is issued at the end of all our courses, except for CELTA and TKT because the certificates are issued by Cambridge ESOL.
In order for British Side certificates to be issued, the following criteria apply:
On 12-hour courses, certificates will only be issued to those attending 75% of the course, i.e. 9 hours
On 30-hour courses, certificates will only be issued to those attending 80% of the course, i.e. 24 hours
On 60-hour courses, graded certificates will only be issued to those attending 80% of the course, i.e. 48 hours
