EA Beginners EB Elementary IA Lower Intermediate IB Intermediate IC Upper Intermediate AA Lower Advanced AB Advanced AC Upper Advanced How can Business English Courses help me ?On a British Side Business English course you will work with business training materials to develop your language and skills in situations such as: Job applications and interviews Making formal presentations Selling yourself and your ideas Participating in meetings Negotiating Decision making Practise using appropriate phrases for these and many more typical situations Discuss issues relevant to today?s international business environment Learn specialist vocabulary to express yourself better in a range of business contexts Improve the style and accuracy of your writing for business by e-mail, fax and formal letters Learn conventions of formal written English for business, including how to structure letters and reports Speak more effectively and confidently on the telephone Rehearse a variety of work-related social situations in English 4.How many levels of Business English Courses do you have ?We have 5 different Business English Course levels BE1 Elementary BE2 Pre-Intermediate BE3 Intermediate BE4 Upper-Intermediate-Lower Advanced BE5 Advanced-Upper Advanced Each level comprises three modules, giving a total of 108 hours of tuition. One module offers 36 hours of tuition over a nine week term, with two lessons of 2 hours per week, or one lesson of 4 hours per week. 5.What are the class times of Business English Courses?Monday and Wednesday 17.30-19.30 or 19.40-21.40 Tuesday and Thursday 17.30-19.30 or 19.40-21.40 Saturday 09.30-13.30 or 14.30-18.30 How can Speaking Skills Courses help me ?They help you; Activate the English you already know Communicate clearly and effectively in English If you do not have enough opportunity to speak English and would like to speak more Review and develop what you are learning/have learnt on a General English course Have more practice at your current level before going on. Speak more confidently in English Have lots of practice in speaking in English Develop your speaking skills through a wide variety of activities Speak more fluently Learn what English to use in specific situations Learn how to use specific functions in English Learn conversation techniques to help you converse more effectively Improve your vocabulary in speaking 7.Is it like a Speaking Club with people from different levels ?No. British Side Speaking Skills Courses are offered at four levels (Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate,Advanced). Each level of the Speaking Courses offers up to 54 hours tuition over three terms. 8.What are the class times for Speaking Skills Courses ?Monday and Wednesday 18.30- 19.30 Tuesday and Thursday 18.30- 19.30 Saturday or Sunday 14.30-16.30 9.I will take the IELTS exam soon. Do you have a special programme to help me prepare for IELTS ?Yes, we have IELTS Preparation Courses. 10.Can you guarantee that I can get a 7 in my IELTS exam? How much progress can I make on this course?No, we don?t and can not nguarantee your exam score. However, we have often seen that candidates get .5 - 1 point higher in her/his try after having taken the IELTS Preparation Course with British Side. This progress is the natural result of; Having a specialised course to help you achieve the best possible result in the examination. Having lots of practice in the four components of the exam. Developing the language and vocabulary you need to use in the exam. Developing the skills you need to use in the exam. Developing the exam techniques you need to use in the exam. Learning how to understand the questions in all four components of the exam. Learning how to answer the writing tasks most effectively and how to write Academic English. Learning how to answer most effectively in the Speaking test. Practising the different reading skills required in the exam and how to speed read. Learning how to listen for the information you require. Understanding what the exam consists of and what it aims to test. Learning how to manage your time in the exam. 11.I need to improve my English very fast . Do you have intensive courses?Yes, we have intensive courses throughout the year, and especially in the summer. Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thur 10.00-12.00, 14.00-16.00, 17.30-19.30, 19.40-21.40 Sat and Sun 09.30-13.30, 14.30-18.30 *These class hours may not be available for every level. 12.Do you have special programmes for Children ?Yes, we have courses for children. The courses for September term are 27 hours over a nine week term, and contains 4 modules that's why İt containes 108 hour. The courses for summer season is 15 hours per week and contains 5 weeks, this course involves watching an English-language film or reading an english book per week and doing activities and practice related to the film and book each week. The aim of the courses is to improve childrens use of English, listening skills, knowledge of vocabulary, and confidence in speaking.
