British Side Ankara was opened in 2011 by former British Council staff. We are situated in Tunus Caddesi, kavaklıdere. We offer a range of courses from General English, IELTS Preparation courses and corporate training.
Corporate Courses
British Side offers corporate courses that are designed to meet your organisation's needs. In Ankara we have been working with a number of organisations including World Bank, Treasury, Central Finance and Contracts Unit, Ministry of labour and Social Security as well as various embassies.
IELTS Preparation Courses
We offer small, friendly IELTS groups which provide you with specific practice and tips on how to approach the exam and what to expect. We also offer courses for individuals who need to improve their language skills before taking an IELTS course.Our Negotiation skills and Intercultural Communication Skills Courses at Ankara University
British Side runs Negotiation Skills Courses and Intercultrural Communication Skills courses every year at Ankara University European Research Center. Negotiation Skills
This course focusses on writing official correspondence and reports as well as spoken skills such as delivering presentations and the language and techniques used during meetings and negotiations.
Intercultural Communication Skills
This course is designed for people who are involved in working with people from different cultural backgrounds. The course explores theories behind culture and raises awareness of cultural behaviours, mores, values and traditions which can effect intercultural dialogue.
